Izaak Enschedé (16 April 1681 in Haarlem – 1 May 1761 in Haarlem) was the founder of the printing company Royal Joh. Enschedé in 1703.〔Zuidema, (Nieuw Nederlandsch Biografisch Woordenboek ) p.572 (Dutch)〕 He was the son of Johannes Enschda (baptished 18 July 1642 in Groningen – 4 October 1706 in Haarlem) and Elisabeth Jansdochter van den Berg (27 April 1632 in Haarlem – 18 Juli 1723 in Haarlem).
